Attended the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. After obtaining the MD, trained in Gastroenterology in the U.K. reaching the grade of Consultant Gastroenterologist. A specialist in Gastroenterology since 2000. Organized the Endoscopy Lab at Euromedica Geniki Kliniki Thessalonikis and has been head of the GI Department since 2008.

Main interests are therapeutic endoscopy, GI oncology and inflammatory bowel disease – IBD.
